My races this year:

(1) 2nd Great Lapu-lapu run (April 18, 2010)

- First race ever. Not the best but definitely that most unforgettable. During this race, i was not a part of Aegis People Support Black Panthers officially but i was able to tag along with the group’s transpo because the location is very far. All in all, it was a good race and i hope they could do better next time.

(2) Mandue City run (May 2, 2010)

- Worst race ever. I ran 10K for the first time and although i did not experience what other runners were complaining i am still glad i was able to finish this. With Bam who is absolutely the nicest person you’ll ever meet. The first 5-10 minutes, runners were greeted with the foul smell. I couldnt help myself but smile because we are tailing on a garbage truck fully loaded with garbage that’s really disgusting. We passed by the creeks in mandaue and still full of garbage. It was kinda embarrassing for me because the race was a shame. it’s like giving a tourist the taste of why mandaue is never a great place. One of the most views fortunately happened here. The Cansaga bridge is fasinating to see. I have to force myself to slow down to enjoy its beauty. I don’t think there’s going to be a next race, it’s just too risky for runners.
